Occupation: Painter, draftsman, sculptor, photographer.

Through in depth study of the Masters and of Art History Antonio embraced the various artistic movements.  But Antonio has adapted these age old techniques with his totally unique way of painting!!! Revolutionizing and creating a new dimension of portrayed movement and subject! He has combined craftsmanship with beauty and imagination!

Curriculum Vitae


Born in Lisbon, Portugal in 1976, Antonio dos Santos Albano Dias. Son of António Pinto Guerreiro Dias and Mariana Inácia G. Albano Dias Family from Alentejo Alqueva,  acquired an early taste for drawing and painting! Taught by the hand of his Fathe, surveyor, painter and designer. Antonio lived his childhood on the island of Madeira where he was understudy to the French painter Annie Amandine!!!!. Teachings by Amandine, also a sculptor, opened a broader vision of the art world.
In 1986 Antonio settled in Portugal. Joining courses and classes in drawing, painting, photography and sculpture.
In 1994, he enrolled in a course in art and design in the school of St. Andrew in the city of Barreiro. Due to compulsory military conscription Antonio was assigned to the Cavalry Regiment in Estremoz where he had to cancel arts studies. Never dropping his taste and love for the arts over these tough years Antonio's passion for Arts was nurtured by studying literary and biographical works of other artists!  Their movements, techniques and styles in the world of arts .

Antonio produced works in the areas of restoration of paintings, decor, photography, ceramics and sculpture.

Year 1996, held a solo exhibition of some pieces made ​​of marble and wood, on the theme "The Celtic Stone" along with some works done in acrylic on canvas of 1995. At the invitation of friends at Casa del Bosque Elvas .

Year 1997, by a great childhood friend, Annie Amandine, moved to Paris, France to perform a pooled sample presenting in partnership Figurismo free in Place du Tertre in Montmartre, Paris .

2005 , participated in the " Alma Viva Alentejo Wine " Esporão ( Finagra ) / Journal Supporting Daily News event.

2006, through a call to illustrate a children's book, under the title "Vaz Camões the Traveler" performed a set of original drawings, inlay cover and inside, where unfortunately we came to realize its publication and press on the market.

Year 2007, the artist performs a project of 12 paintings on canvas, theme "The sound of Ney." including two sculptures of the ancient theme. "The Celtic Stone" are incorporated. Parts acquired by private art collector, Istanbul (Turkey)

In 2008, through a group of friends, joined the project for the theater play "Me! I do nothing else! At Trinity Theatre, as a photographer and scene together, in that part produced the songs and sound of his own.

June 2012 under the Tourist Office of the Municipality of Moita, presented a solo exhibition on the theme "Portugal, Past and Present that distinguishes us "exhibition dedicated to the Portuguese culture and its history.

In the Year 2013, in February, had invited the Municipal Forum Luisa Todi in Setubal, a sample and presentation of its collection of original fado, Amalia Radio event held by the Night "Gala of the Fado".

October 2013 held a solo exhibition at the Municipal Art Gallery of Barry, a range of original paintings on the title "Paintings of Antonio Alba Days."
