Vidmantas Vaitkevičius

Vidmantas Vaitkevičius, now a renowned painter not only in Lithuania but also in many countries of the world has won many awards. His artistic talent was revealed even while studying at the Juozas Naujalis Art School in Kaunas.

 

 

In 1980, he became the winner of the Lithuanian Young Painters Competition. After successfully studying painting at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, Vidmantas Vaitkevičius acquired many accolades at the Kaunas Branch of Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts.

 

 

Between 1990 - 1993 Vidma's knowledge of painting was extended in the Art College of Leipzig (Germany). The artist has now organized 47 personal exhibitions in Lithuania, Latvia, USA, Japan, England, Germany, Norway, Holland, Russia and other countries of the world.
