It's a late winter, early spring morning in the countryside of Northern Italy 1934 and 36 year old Enzo Ferrari is discussing the testing of the Alfa Romeo P3 being driven by Achille Varzi. Varzi, along with Tazio Nuvolari, is the top Italian Grand Prix driver and he has just joined the Scuderia Ferrari for the upcoming 1934 season. Enzo Anselmo Ferrari is running the Alfa Romeo works Grand Prix team under the Scuderia Ferrari banner. Pre-season the P3 is regarded as the top car and Ferrari has high hopes for the coming season. However no-one could predict the impact the entry into the sport of the two new German teams, Auto Union and Mercedes - Benz would have with their state of the art " Silver Arrows " who would dominate Grand Prix racing until the outbreak of World War 2.

After the War Ferrari was forced into having to design and manufacture his own road and racing cars, the rest is history.!!
