Rebecca Lardner - 

Born in Swanage, October 1971, to a gamekeeper and post mistress. My childhood was spent roaming the glorious Dorset countryside, preferring to be amongst nature or keenly observing the local people and places that have fascinated me ever since. I completed an Art Foundation at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design and then a BA Honours Degree in Illustration at Sir John Moore’s University, Liverpool.

Influenced by the South West and its coastline, my  recent oil paintings on canvas depict life at the sea with my signature palette of subtle blues and greens.

I'm constantly exhibiting in a range of top galleries in the UK and my  work is collected throughout Europe, America and other reaches of the world. I am next exhibiting at Dorset Art Weeks, so come and visit me, May 24 - June 1.
