Rosie has several private collectors around the world with some of them owning up to 10 pieces. Rosie works in a mainly Art Deco style with some Art Nouveau and Surrealism mixed in for good measure and tends to go for bright and colourful with lots of detail rather than dark and sombre. Most of her pieces are large and are meant to own any wall they are placed upon. On average, these artworks take anything from 3 months to a year to complete as most are created in oil. On her Box Gallery Canvas artworks, she continues the paintings around the sides and there is usually a little detail added which is part of the story she is telling the viewer. Because of the nature of her style, Rosie uses imagery from the Art Deco period together with her own interpretation. All of her ladies are based upon imagination, apart from her commissions, so if you have an idea for an artwork, please contact Rosie to discuss. The limit is your own imagination. All artwork comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and will be printed with the poetry or lyric description where applicable to the piece. Postage to anywhere in the world, is included within the price of each artwork so no hidden costs. However, if you wish for extra insurance, then please contact Rosie direct. All Prints offered are Limited Editions with 10 only being printed and each edition is numbered, signed and dated by Rosie personally. ALL ARTWORKS ARE COPYRIGHTED. |

“My art is very detailed and narrative. All of my paintings are created around a fleeting moment in time, an event, or even just a thought. Music lyrics also play an important role and I have created several pieces that show those lyrics as the story they are trying to say to me”.
“My ‘style’ is strongly Art Deco influenced something I am ‘known’ for in America. I use the creative influences of Salvador Dali and Tamara De Lempicka, just adding my softness to the sometimes hardness that these artists used during that period. Most of my commissions are based upon this Art Deco style”.
“My paintings are by no means all Art Deco however, as I also paint Surreal works, more contemporary works, abstracts and also illustrative colourful art that is purely for the enjoyment factor. All of my people are imaginary, I don’t use models, but I do use my own photographs for my backgrounds and compositions and of course basic material and photographs when composing commissions for clients. I have been very fortunate to have travelled to some wonderful cities in this world to see magnificent architecture and art that keeps me inspired”.
“I ‘narrate’ my work, either in a storybook format or poetry that I write around the art, to give the viewer an insight into how the painting speaks to me as I create it. People always have differing views on what an artist is portraying in their work and I often heard those differing views whilst visiting exhibitions and shows, so I thought I would tell people, so that they ‘no longer had to ponder’”.
