HIGH PRESTIGE EXHIBITION STANDARD REPRODUCTION VERY LARGE (Original Size) OIL PAINTING OF Toulouse-lautrec's "Yvette Guilbert singing "Linger, Longer, Loo" (1894) by the superb Artist David Aldus!
This lovely large painting comes from an important stage in Toulouse-Lautrec's career where he would produce incredible sketches on cardboard followed by a more detailed drawing, a study by an aquarelle then he would proceed to a final version painted on canvas and often to Lithograph aswell!! But Lautrec's talent also enabled him to dispense with the preliminary stages, and to proceed straightaway to the drawing on stone and printing, thanks to his remarkable memory for detail. He drew at such a speed and with such precision, and his eye for essentials was so keen, that some of his most successful lithographs were done in this way!!
Highest price received for one of his paintings is £14,000 "Lot's Wife" Absolute investment opportunity!
