Utrillo Maurice (26 December 1883 – 5 November 1955) was a French painter who specialized in cityscapes. Born in the Montmartre quarter of Paris, France, Utrillo is one of the few famous painters of Montmartre who were born there. He was possibly the son of Renoir as his mother the famous artist Suzanne Valadon was a model for Renoir and had begun an affair with him. Utrillo's mother Suzanne valadon is a fascinating one. She began life in the Circus as a trapeze artist but after a fall began modelling.
