Original oil painting on canvas 12'' x 16'' framed in good condition for its age, shows a northern seaside town.

We have no provenance so its sold as in the style of Lowry so please bid accordingly. There is heavy impasto i.e  paint is laid on very thickly as you can see in the pics.

It would look 100% better in a new frame.

Interestingly in the pic above it looks like the Artist has erased two figures that appeared to be running. Lowry was known not to paint running figures.
